Description

CONCITO is seeking a dedicated Climate Analyst to contribute to our work on developing a Danish scenario for a sustainable food system. The position is a 9-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data and policy analysis, thrives in stakeholder dialogue, and is eager to strengthen CONCITO’s efforts to promote sustainable agricultural and food policies—both in Denmark and globally.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing models and scenarios for Denmark’s food system in collaboration with an international consortium of knowledge institutions.
  • Mapping and formulating policies that align climate targets with food production.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on Denmark’s food system while identifying innovative solutions.
  • Engaging stakeholders and experts from business, civil society, political institutions, and industry by participating in and facilitating workshops and meetings.
  • Planning and coordinating project-related activities.

Job requirements

We expect you to have:

Educational background and experience

  • A relevant higher education in environmental, agricultural, or social sciences.
  • Recently graduated or up to a couple of years of experience in the field.

Analytical and professional skills

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Experience with or strong interest in policy analysis and developing strategic recommendations.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written communication skills, as English is the primary working language.

Collaboration and dialogue

  • Strong networking, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including with public authorities, NGOs, and industry organizations.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, contributing actively to a positive work atmosphere at CONCITO.

Work style and personal attributes

  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, prioritizing tasks in a busy environment.
  • Responsibility for deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for international meetings and workshops.
