These terms apply in connection with the use of Thegroundup.dk.

Data Protection

In accordance with the Data Protection Act, all your personal information must be stored securely and confidentially. Thegroundup.dk complies with legislation on the protection of personal data.

Data Collection

Thegroundup collects certain information in connection with the use of Thegroundup.dk.

The collection of personal information is necessary to offer, for example, our newsletter (where email addresses and names are collected). Thegroundup only collects the information necessary to provide the respective service. By using Thegroundup, you accept that we collect and use the provided personal data in connection with the service. Thegroundup also retains this information only as long as it is relevant to the respective service.

Thegroundup automatically registers which computers visit Thegroundup.dk through the use of cookies. A cookie recognizes a computer as a user when logging into a website such as Thegroundup.dk and records the computer's activity on Thegroundup.dk.

Furthermore, cookies are used for statistical analysis to improve our services and in connection with subscribing to and unsubscribing from Thegroundup's newsletter. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, Thegroundup stores your email address to tailor the newsletter’s content as effectively as possible. Specifically, we register whether you open the newsletter, which part of the content you click on, and similar actions.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email.

Sensitive and Confidential Information

You may not upload sensitive personal information related to, for example, religion, race, political affiliations, trade union membership, sexual orientation, or health information on Thegroundup.dk. Such information will be deleted.

CPR Number

You may not upload your CPR number in any form. CPR numbers and related documents will be deleted.

Disclosure of Information

Thegroundup discloses your personal data if (1) it is necessary to deliver a service, or (2) it is required by a court ruling or applicable legislation. Disclosure will only take place to the extent necessary to perform the respective service or as required by a court ruling or applicable legislation.

Your Rights

When we process your information, you have several rights. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at contact@Thegroundup.dk.

· You have the right to access the information we process about you.

· You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.

· You have the right to have your information deleted. If legal requirements oblige us to retain information for a certain period, deletion can only take place after this period expires.

· In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data and to object to the processing.

· In some cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have this personal data transferred to another data controller.

· You can file a complaint with the Data Protection Agency if you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data.

Deletion of Your Data and Retention Periods

We process your personal data in our system as long as we have a concrete, legitimate purpose for doing so. Your data is stored in our system until you request its deletion, the retention periods expire, or the information is no longer relevant to the provided service.

Deletion of All Information About You as a User If you wish for us to delete the information we have registered about you, please contact us at contact@Thegroundup.dk.

Limitation of Liability

Although Thegroundup maintains a high standard of data security, it is unfortunately not possible to guarantee complete security for data transmitted to, from, and via Thegroundup.dk. When data is sent and stored electronically, there is always a risk that unauthorized parties may gain access to protected data. Thegroundup disclaims all liability for any security breaches.

Furthermore, Thegroundup is not responsible for any third-party breaches of confidentiality, including during the transport of emails or hacking into Thegroundup's IT systems.

Thegroundup.dk contains multiple links to other websites. Thegroundup does not guarantee the quality or content of the material found on these websites. Thegroundup is also not responsible for anything related to the entities, private or legal, to which Thegroundup.dk provides referrals or links.

Any content uploaded by a user anywhere on Thegroundup.dk is solely the responsibility of that user, and Thegroundup assumes no responsibility for illegal content.

In connection with services and offers where users provide information to third parties, Thegroundup is in no way responsible for the data security and/or processing of personal data by such third parties.

A user of Thegroundup.dk cannot hold Thegroundup liable for any loss resulting from Thegroundup updating or modifying the offered services or offers.

Thegroundup is likewise not liable for any losses the user may suffer due to operational disruptions or malfunctions of any kind, including viruses. Thegroundup assumes no responsibility for data loss.

The above disclaimers apply unless otherwise stated or required by the mandatory provisions of Danish law.

General conditions for posting a job advertisement

Any job posted on Thegroundup.dk must meet Thegroundup’s requirements for company types and job types, as specified here x. If a job does not meet Thegroundup’s criteria, Thegroundup reserves the right not to post the position, and any payment will be refunded as quickly as possible.

Thegroundup reserves the right to block companies that, through misinformation or other means, attempt to circumvent Thegroundup’s assessment of whether a job or company satisfies Thegroundups criteria.

Each job posting must only concern a single position.

Thegroundup reserves the right to refuse job postings that violate applicable laws and regulations, user interests, or Thegroundup’s interests.

Thegroundup assumes no responsibility for the legality of the job postings displayed on Thegroundup.dk.

On Thegroundup.dk, only job postings that offer vacant positions are accepted.

All job postings must comply with the legal regulations applicable to job advertisements, including the Anti-Discrimination Act.

Thegroundup reserves the right to correct any typographical errors and make changes. If a typographical error is discovered or a change is required, Thegroundup can be contacted via email on contact@Thegroundup.dk. Thegroundup will address the issue as soon as possible.

Categorization of Job Listings

Job postings are placed on Thegroundup.dk in the categories and geographic areas that Thegroundup deems relevant based on the job advertisement text, if this is not clearly stated in the submitted job posting.

Display Date and Duration

The display date will generally be the day the job posting is submitted. However, exceptions may apply in cases where a more in-depth evaluation is required to determine whether the job meets Thegroundup’s criteria (See here). In such cases, the job posting may only go live at a later time. Thegroundup is not responsible for delays due to system errors.

The display period for a job posting on Thegroundup.dk is up to 30 days, depending on the selected product.

Intellectual Property Rights

Thegroundup retains all intellectual property rights, including copyrights, for all job advertisements in which Thegroundup has participated in the creation.

Payment Conditions

The current price for posting a job is stated on the payment page, and payment is made when the job is published.

Specifically for featured Jobs

Featured jobs are published on Thegroundup’s social media platforms (LinkedIn). The publication takes place as soon as possible after the job has been published on Thegroundup’s website, while also considering the optimal timing for the post.

If there are specific requirements regarding the publication time on Thegroundup’s LinkedIn profile, Thegroundup must be contacted in advance, and it will be assessed whether these requests can be accommodated.

Specifically for Screening+

Screening+ includes an applicant screening process conducted by Thegroundup to assess whether candidates match the job's criteria. The screening process involves contacting applicants and inquiring whether they meet the three (3) most essential criteria. Thegroundup will then inform the company which candidates meet the requirements and which do not.

Company Profiles – General terms

A company that posts a job on Thegroundup will receive a free company profile. The profile includes descriptions of the company, images, links, etc. The purpose is to present Thegroundup’s users with sustainable companies. Thegroundup collects information from the internet and from the company itself when creating the profile.

Thegroundup reserves the right to adjust the information submitted in connection with the creation of a company profile. However, a company always has the option to request modifications to its profile or have it removed.

Sharing of Company Profiles on Social Media

Thegroundup reserves the right to share company profiles that have been completed by the respective company on social media, such as LinkedIn, in posts that positively highlight the company. This is done following a dialogue with the company.

Intellectual Property Rights – Company Profiles

Thegroundup retains all intellectual property rights, including copyright, to all company profiles and related materials created. However, a company always has the right to request changes to its profile or to have it deleted.

CV Bank

When you submit a CV to our database, your CV and personal information will be recorded and stored. The purpose of this data collection is to enable Thegroundup to connect potential candidates with companies seeking to fill positions.

If Thegroundup identifies a match between your profile and a company’s hiring needs, we will contact you via the email address provided to assess your interest in participating in the recruitment process for the relevant position.

As part of its business operations, Thegroundup may grant third parties access to candidate CVs.

All submitted CVs are stored on Thegroundup’s platform for a period of three years, after which they will be deleted. Prior to this deadline, you will be notified and given the option to extend the storage period. To ensure that CVs remain up to date, you will also receive periodic email reminders requesting you to upload a revised version.

You may request the deletion of your CV and personal information at any time by contacting contact@thegroundup.dk.

Miscellaneous Terms

Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising in connection with agreements between the customer and Thegroundup, including disputes concerning the existence or validity of agreements, shall be settled by arbitration at the Danish Arbitration Institute according to its rules.

Disputes

If a dispute arises between Thegroundup and a user of Thegroundup.dk or a related site based on Thegroundup’s website or related matters, the dispute shall be settled under Danish law and in Danish courts.

Scraping of Thegroundup.dk

Thegroundup prohibits the scraping of content from Thegroundup.dk.

Validity

These terms were last updated on March 19, 2025. These terms remain in effect until new terms are issued. The latest terms always apply and replace all previous terms.
